More IT equipment making its way to another local organisation.

In their latest series of ‘Pay It Forward’ donations, Protech have partnered with Peterlee-based Barchester Hawthorns Care Centre.

Ian Murphy, COO at Protech, said:
“The most rewarding part of my role is getting the opportunity to see how equipment we’ve donated is making a difference to people’s lives in our region. When we heard that Wendy was in desperate need of a laptop to enable her to do things that most of us take for granted like doing her online shopping, we knew we had to help. It’s fantastic to be able to help Wendy and I thoroughly hope she enjoys the use of her new laptop.”

Lynn Haswell from Barchester Hawthorns Care Centre, said:
“Kind donations such as these make a huge difference to our residents. Wendy is extremely grateful to Protech for her laptop and is thrilled that it’s given her some of her independence back.”

As part of their Pay It Forward scheme, Protech are looking to partner with many more organisations across the UK to help as many worthwhile causes as possible. If your organisation is in the middle of upgrading your IT estate and think that some of your old equipment could be put to better use, please get in touch and we’ll discuss how we can help some local charities, together.
