National software consultancy Scott Logic has signalled its ongoing growth plans with the appointment of Laura Donelly as Finance Director.
Laura, who joins the fast growing software consultancy from the UK and Ireland leadership team at Sage, the North East’s only FTSE 100 plc, brings with her a wealth of senior level financial experience and is looking to help steer the future direction of the business which in ten short years has grown from a start up in Newcastle to a multi million pound operation employing more than 230 technology professionals across four UK offices.
Scott Logic, which continues to operate its head office in Newcastle, has developed an enviable reputation for creating bespoke complex software solutions and works with some of the world’s largest financial institutions and global investment banks. Laura’s appointment will provide the business with a strategic steer as it builds on its success and enters in to new markets.

In the past 12 months, Scott Logic which has been named one of the North East’s Top 50 Fastest growing companies for 2017, has appointed 80 new members of staff to its teams in Newcastle, Bristol, Edinburgh and London – including 20 graduates who have joined its sought after graduate programme – in order to fuel its future growth strategy.
