TICKETS for the region’s flagship IT and technology awards are selling fast – and you haven’t got long to confirm your attendance.
Dynamites 19 Awards night will be at Newcastle Civic Centre banqueting suite this Thursday (October 17).
The Awards, sponsored by Gateshead College, are now in their sixth year and are organised by north east IT network Dynamo. They shine a spotlight on successful regional tech companies and recognise the talent within the north-east tech sector.
Many of the region’s leading IT and technology companies have made it on to the awards shortlist, as well as some of the north east’s largest businesses which have critical and innovative IT departments. The awards shortlist is available here.
Charlie Hoult, Chair of Dynamo, said: “Dynamites 19 will be a wonderful evening – a celebration of the very best of the region’s tech sector. As well as recognising and rewarding our superstars and rising stars, the awards provide a brilliant opportunity for networking.
“There’ll certainly be plenty of laughs, and a few surprises. And I can guarantee that our host for the evening – which will be revealed on Thursday – will not be wearing Speedos as Daymon Britton did last year.
“Tickets are flying out for what is the biggest industry awards event in the region, so I urge people to get their tickets quickly to avoid disappointment.”
More than 400 attendees are expected at the Awards dinner and those booked so far include BMC Recruitment Group, Notify Technology, Reed Global, Waterstons, Womble Bond Dickinson, Sintons, Hays Travel, DigitalCity, Baltic Training, Muckle, KPMG, Forfusion, Mincoffs, Opencast, Saggezza, Tombola, Ubisoft and NHSBSA.
This year’s judging panel comprised: Anne MacDonald (Chair), Dynamo North East; Pete Watson, Atlas Cloud; Nicola Japp, Accenture; Deni Chambers, Gateshead College; Fay Cooper, DWP; Siobhan Fenton, Teesside University; Sue Ormerod, Nigel Wright; Alison Cowie, North East Times and Reece Donovan, Nomad Digital.
