Construction industry software firm NBS has created a raft of jobs to bolster its sales team.
The Newcastle-based company has taken on 10 new staff as it looks to grow its customer base in the UK and internationally.
It follows the recent launch of NBS’ first cloud-based specification platform, NBS Chorus.
The new recruits will undergo a six-month coaching and training programme covering business development and customer-relationship management.
NBS partnered with Wallsend-based recruiter durhamlane to support the recruitment drive.
Lindi Teate, corporate services director at NBS, said: “We sourced, selected and on-boarded 10 colleagues into our business within eight weeks.
“The calibre of candidates has been very high and each bring a strong work ethic and the want and capacity to learn with an abundance of potential.”
Lindi added: “I’m confident that they will grow and develop into our future talent and be real ambassadors for the NBS brand.”
NBS now employs more than 180 people at its HQ in the Old Post Office building, Newcastle city centre.
durhamlane’s director of consulting and learning, Alison Freer, commented: “It was great to work with a truly innovative North East business who really understand the importance of sales growth to its wider business strategy.
“The NBS team, culture and office space is just fantastic, and we were delighted to help drive their ambitious growth plans.”
