The Institute of Coding (IoC) is a partnership of over 18 universities in England, including Newcastle, Northumbria and Sunderland Universities, who are all working hard to address the digital skills gap.
A key part of the Institute’s purpose is to co-create programmes that are both academically rigorous and fit the needs of a dynamic and rapidly developing industry, so that students, existing professionals, career changers, and those returning to the workplace have the most relevant qualifications, and employers, like you, get the highly skilled workforce they need.
The work we’re doing is relevant to both highly digitised industries, who are seeking to keep their employees skills at the cutting edge, and to those industries who are being propelled into the world of digitisation, and find themselves needing to upskill (new and existing) workers to capably deal with the demands of a rapidly changing digital age.
As such, we are inviting you to join us for collaborative talks with our partners and employers from around the region, to help inform the development of our Degree Apprenticeships and Continuous Professional Development programmes.
