At Dynamo we are always working to build on the offer and benefits for our members. Now with more than 150 member organisations from across the IT & Tech sector in the North East, from big corporates and software development companies large and small, to consultants, academics, public sector bodies and suppliers to the industry, we believe that we have a pool of amazing knowledge and potential support opportunities held within our network. We are lucky in the North East that we can put our hands around the sector, look out for each other, as well as enjoy healthy competition.

We are keen to create an informal and diverse mentoring programme that connects members with other members, that encourages knowledge transfer and cross pollination of ideas and stories within our sector. Whether it be a business leader from a large corporate connecting with a newly launched software/app development company, or a council IT leader talking to a skills development advisor to schools, we believe there is much we can learn from each other.

Mentoring can offer a rewarding opportunity to share expertise with others and help them grow whilst also providing an independent sounding board for mentees to explore issues, get advice and find solutions outside their normal work environment.

This panel event, led by Dynamo board members Jen Hartley and Stuart Lynn and kindly hosted by Sintons, will enable members to learn how we plan to connect, develop and grow our region’s economy through exploring the knowledge and willing held within our amazing network of members. And we are looking for our first mentors and mentees keen to get involved and give up just a little of their time.

We look forward to seeing you there!
