Innovate UK’s Singapore Global Business Accelerator Programme, delivered by Enterprise Europe Network, is targeted at innovative UK SMEs involved in cross-cutting AI & Digital technologies, who want to showcase their innovations and what they can offer at TECHINNOVATION 2018 and Singapore’s Week of Innovation and TeCHnology (SWITCH).
Since its start in 2012 SWITCH has grown to become a leading conference in Singapore and Asia with a focus on matching industry’s needs to enabling technologies across sectors including:

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
Founders, chief technology officers and knowledge creators are sought who have a desire to collaborate and do business with Singaporean organisations and are committed to advancing the state of the art in the key areas of AI, IoT, 5G and big data. Preference will be given to those that are aligned with the event’s priority sectors.
The successful UK applicants will have the opportunity to attend TECHINNOVATION 2018learn about market trends, co-creation and co-development opportunities and the business culture of Singapore. There will be the chance to meet prospective partners, investors and key Government agencies from Singapore and around Asia and take part in pre-arranged meetings in accordance with the UK participant requirements. Post visit, each participant will be allocated an EEN advisor to follow up leads from the visit to Singapore. Innovate UK fund flights, accommodation, exhibition fees and logistics for one delegate from each participating company. A refundable commitment fee of £399 from each company is required.

Singapore’s meteoric rise and consistently high-rankings in education, GDP per capita, healthcare, transport, infrastructure quality and technology adoption make it an exceptional place to create knowledge and do business. Singapore is frequently used as a safe gateway to Asia due to all of the above, plus an attractive tax system, a familiar legal framework, the ease of doing business in English and a test pilot of 5.5 million people a short plane ride from 1 billion people.

Please be aware that the confirmation of registration does not mean that you have been accepted onto the mission. It is a competitive process and only 15 applicants will be successful. All applicants will be notified by 18:00 GMT on the 3rd of August 2018.
