Trench Networks secures new client

We are delighted to announce our new client GMI Construction Group Plc! Initially deploying us on a few of their sites, the team at GMI Construction were so impressed with the service and performance that they have now committed to rolling out our unique connectivity service company wide.

Formed in 1986, GMI Construction have a proven track record of delivering award winning projects for an international portfolio of developers, public sector clients and blue chip companies. Earlier this year (April 2019), they were named in the 20th edition of the Sunday Times BDO Profit Track 100 league table, a ranking of Britain’s private companies with the fastest-growing profits. They also won ‘Contractor of the Year’ at the Yorkshire Business Insiders Property Industry Awards 2018 and most recently they were crowned ‘Construction Business of the Year’ at the Insider Property Awards North West 2019.

Jamie Beech – IT Manager, GMI Construction said:

“With our sites relying more on cloud based systems to aid in the construction process, we needed a solution that would meet our connectivity and performance requirements, but also the ability to have site to site VPN connections back to our internal infrastructure to provide greater security and remote manageability.  The Trench Networks Outpost has gone above and beyond all expectations and requirements, and the support and services from the team have provided a real benefit to our site and business operations.”

Our Managing Director, Kevin Latimer says:

“It has been fantastic to welcome GMI Construction aboard – it is a testament to our emphasis on partnerships and collaboration. We’re proud of our different approach to delivering on-site connectivity and through using our innovative service GMI Construction have been able to reap the rewards of having fit-for-purpose site communications. We work hard to create relationships with our clients and we look forward to supporting them.”
