Sellick Partnership marks Employee Appreciation Day by announcing company-wide day off

Sellick Partnership, the market-leading professional services recruitment firm, has announced that all staff will have the full day off on Friday 3 March 2023.

To mark Employee Appreciation Day, a professional services recruitment business has announced a company-wide day off to give back to its staff.

Sellick Partnership recently revealed that every employee would be benefitting from a long weekend, starting on Friday 3 March 2023, as a way of thanking the teams.

Traditionally, the recruitment firm had allowed employees to finish early and have lunch on the business, but this year they are taking things a step further to acknowledge their continued efforts and unrivalled dedication.

The company, which has been recognised as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces™ for Wellbeing by Great Place to Work® UK, described this as an opportunity to ‘make sure that each and every employee feels cared for and appreciated’.

Managing Director, Jo Sellick, said: “We are dedicated to creating an environment that enables each individual to thrive. The secret to the success of Sellick Partnership is the people that we employ.”

Anyone already off on annual leave will be able to cancel their holiday request, and part-time members of staff who use Fridays as a non-work day will be given permission to take the time back on another day in March.

Jo went on to add: “We want all staff to come into the office in the morning and enjoy their time at work. That’s what it’s all about.

“We try to create a platform that will make a difference to the lives of our people and in turn we hope this will help many more, by providing a tailored and compassionate approach to recruitment.”

Despite having a £75m turnover across seven offices nationwide, Sellick Partnership pride themselves on having an ‘open door policy’ which encourages everyone to have a voice, delivering a culture of transparency.

Referring to their incentive, Jo said: “The effort and dedication from all the staff at Sellick Partnership doesn’t go unrecognised. This is just another way we can say we are truly thankful.”
