Wallsend Inspires – Saturday 26th October 2019
10.00am – 1.30pm – Tyne Metropolitan College
The event being put together with the support from local schools, North Tyneside Council, local businesses, FE colleges and training providers and will aim to provide parents and young people with the best possible information and guidance to enable every young person to identify routes into work. It will help to support them to make non-biased, informed decisions about the next stage of their education, training or their future career by bringing together businesses, institutions and organisations from all sectors with a specific focus on growing industries and local opportunities.
There will be two main areas:
- A main exhibition area including businesses from all sectors, training providers, colleges and universities.
- Breakout areas with information about finance, benefits, travel, child care, higher education, apprenticeships and much more.
The event will be heavily promoted across all local schools and will also be advertised around the local area and in the local press.
We would welcome exhibitors from any sectors and institutions but particularly those within the local area and it will be an excellent opportunity to inform young people about opportunities within your organisation, inform career pathways and to help bridge the skills gap.
