North East Times announces an exciting media partnership with Newcastle Startup Week (& Scaleup Summit) in 2019.

From the world’s first lightbulb to business software and smart data, the North East of England has been inventing the future for hundreds of years and is regularly voted as one of the best places to live, raise a family, start or grow a business in the UK.

Newcastle Startup Week (& Scaleup Summit) returns in 2019 from May 13-17, with the aim of supporting delegates learn how to start or grow their business in the North East.

The multi-venue event successfully brings together a diverse list of speakers to explore the challenges of running a startup and scaleup business, funding and financial support (including grants, loans, crowdfunding, angel investors and venture capital), improving your sales, marketing and PR of existing products or services, and innovating, developing and launching new products or services.

Newcastle Startup Week (& Scaleup Summit) brings together a vast range of speakers, and this year’s line-up is set to educate, inspire and encourage collaboration.

Attendees can look forward to hearing from speakers including Steven Bartlett, CEO and co-founder of Social Chain, Brad Burton, motivational business speaker and a bestselling author, Joanna Feeley, founder and managing director of Trend Bible, Jason Knights, managing director of Blue Kangaroo Design and plus Andrew and Pete, the UK’s most exciting content marketing experts.

The 2019 event will also have a more national and international focus with Day 4 (‘Scaleup Summit’), featuring former senior executives from Skyscanner and Sage, plus business leaders from Scotland, the Nordics, China, India, Canada & Australia.
