Geoff Hodgson has been appointed as the Chairman of Nigel Wright Group. This follows the management buy-out in October by the Executive Directors.
Geoff is an experienced Non Executive Director and well known business figure in the North East of England. His current appointments include Non Executive Chairmanships of Clearly Drinks, The Port of Blyth and IT consultancy, Trustack,
Geoff’s executive career was spent exclusively in consumer sectors where Nigel Wright Group is Europe’s leading recruitment business. Geoff worked in sales and marketing roles in Proctor & Gamble, Diageo and Coca Cola. Geoff now lives in the North East where he was the CEO of The Federation Brewery which he sold to Scottish and Newcastle in 2004. He then led an MBO of the pub business from The Federation Brewery which was sold in 2006.
Alongside his Non Executive appointments, Geoff is currently Deputy Chairman of the Community Foundation, Governor of Durham School and is a Deputy Lieutenant of the County of Tyne and Wear.
