Nomad Digital achieves RoSPA Silver Award for health and safety performance

World leading provider of passenger and fleet connectivity solutions Nomad Digital are delighted to announce that they have achieved the RoSPA Silver Level Health and Safety Award.

Awarded to Nomad Digital for demonstrating high health and safety performance implemented and managed through their safety management system, safety practises and safety performance, the scope of award covers all aspects of safety management for businesses and is a sought-after achievement.

Organisations receiving a RoSPA Award are recognised as being world-leaders in health and safety practice. Every year, nearly 2,000 entrants vie to achieve the highest possible accolade in what is the UK’s longest-running H&S industry awards.

This award is Nomad Digital’s first recognised formal award in Health and Safety and underpins its global certification and commitment to the ISO 45001 Health and Safety Management Standard which covers all worldwide operations across the 12 countries they operate in.

John Mills, Head of QHSE, Nomad Digital said:

“To gain external recognition for our safety management system and processes that we have embedded into the company globally is extremely rewarding. Our deep-rooted safety culture allows everyone to make the right choices to keep themselves safe. As the silver award illustrates, we will continue to build and mature what we have in place at Nomad Digital for the safety of our people and ensure that our system continues to promote safe operations, so that people choose to keep themselves safe in all that they do.”

Xavier Champaud, Managing Director, Nomad Digital adds:

“This is an excellent accomplishment for Nomad Digital; underlining our commitment to Health and Safety for our people and drive for continuous improvement to achieve the highest standards which is at the forefront of everything here at Nomad. Everyone has a role to play in ensuring we are safe and to prevent risk; our industry comes with very high hazards and the variation in environments and the locations we work in provides the potential for risk that we must constantly assess, manage and control each day.”
