Newcastle University is hosting a placement panel event in the School of Computing Science to give students looking for work experience (12 month placements, or summer internships) a chance to ask questions and get some guidance about the application process, roles and expectations, and a typical “day in the life”. Panellists include students who have recently completed work experience as well as companies and Careers Service staff. All students are invited, although we recommend stage 1 and stage 2 students attend in particular.
