We would like to invite you to take part in the Careers Fair that we are holding on Friday 13 October.
This will be held in the School Hall from 8.30am – 3.15pm. A buffet lunch will be provided.
Last year 30 organisations were kind enough to come and the event was a great success.
The focus of the day is choices at age 14+, 16+, and 18+ and over 300 Year 9 students will attend and around 400 from Years 10 and 11 will also be invited. Sixth Form students will also be attending.
We would like you to provide interactive activities if possible, therefore it would be helpful if you could bring along and demonstrate equipment you use at work. Students will be asked to complete questionnaires and interview delegates about their jobs.
We are hoping to have students from our local primary schools at the end of the day.
We hope your organisation will be able to take part and give the students an insight in your area of work or education, to help them make decisions about their future career and training.
