GP Bullhound acquires New York-based M&A specialists AdMedia Partners

AdMedia was founded in 1990 and has become one of the most prominent M&A firms in the digital, marketing and media sectors in the US. The firm has completed more than 250 deals for a combined value of $12bn, including the acquisition by Advent International of a majority stake in Ansira and the $295m sale of Olson to ICF. The combination will add five senior dealmakers to GP Bullhound’s global team.

This acquisition marks an ambitious move for GP Bullhound into the East Coast US market, complementing existing offices in London, San Francisco, Stockholm, Berlin, Manchester, Paris and most recently Madrid and Hong Kong, opened in 2017.

With over 260 transactions closed since 1999 and managing funds in excess of $100m, GP Bullhound supports the most passionate and successful technology entrepreneurs globally.
