Advanced Research Computing (ARC), the dedicated research computing support unit of Durham University, is to be officially launched by the Vice Chancellor at an evening reception on Wednesday 1st May in the Calman Learning Centre.
Prior to the reception, ARC are holding a symposium on the afternoon of Wednesday 1st May as “A Celebration of the University’s diverse strengths in Research Computing” starting at 12:45 with lunch and refreshments. A wide range of topics will be discussed, with colleagues from all Faculties & external partners sharing their expertise and contributing to the conversation. The symposium will be followed by the reception and poster session to allow for further networking and innovative discussions.
Room capacity and RSVP’s from personal invites means that numbers are limited for the day, please let us know if you will be attending the symposium, reception or both when registering for your free ticket. Please could you also let us know if you have any dietary requirements.
