Can you offer advice on internships within your organisation?

Bede Gaming are in the process of putting together an Intern Programme and are looking for any individuals or organisations who can offer advice and experience based around this.

The internship will be on a voluntary basis for one day a week, over a 6 week period. The interns will be at University level. They plan to offer both business focused and technical internships, based around a similar structure. Their goal is to make the internship of maximum value to both Bede and the students who get involved.

Some questions you may be able to offer some feedback on:

  • How do other tech companies provide valuable tasks to technical interns without exposing them to any intellectual property?
  • What sort of autonomous tasks do you provide on intern programs, to allow lee-way for busy periods in the office?
  • Did anything in particular work well during the recruitment drive for interns?
  • Are there any good/bad lessons you have learned from taking on an intern?

Any guidance and advice would be greatly appreciated. Please contact Eileen Wood at eileen.wood@bedegaming.com
