The Dynamo Advisory Board recently convened with members and stakeholders at an in-person event to share updates on progress and outline the strategic priorities driving Dynamo forward. This piece highlights key achievements, the advisory board’s vision for the future, and how you can get involved.
Reflecting on Our Journey So Far
Over the past year, the Advisory Board has supported Dynamo in achieving the following milestones:
- Strengthened Membership Offering: We introduced a start-up membership tier at a nominal cost, and plan to pilot a new membership cohort for high-growth-potential start-ups next year.
- Bridged Education and Business: We’ve enhanced collaborations to strengthen the region’s talent and innovation pipeline.
- Refined Strategic Vision: A pause in our tech sector business support review allowed us to sharpen long-term goals.
- Set Clear Priorities: Focused vision and actionable plans have been developed to propel Dynamo.
With this foundation in place, we move forward into the future and continue our evolution to ensure sustained growth and success.
Our Vision and Strategic Priorities
At the heart of Dynamo’s mission is our vision: ‘To make the North East of England a better place to start and scale a technology business or department.‘
To achieve this, the Advisory Board have identified four key priorities, which will be the focus of their work with stakeholders, as outlined in the graphic below:
