Accenture are teaming up with Cyber Girls First once again for an exciting charity event aimed at inspiring girls aged 12-14 in the North-East to explore the world of technology. Following two successful past events, which have engaged over 150 schoolgirls, this collaboration continues to challenge gender stereotypes through engaging, hands-on workshops that empower young girls to pursue a career in technology.
In addition to breaking barriers, the event is committed to raising awareness of job opportunities in the North-East, particularly in low-income area schools, ensuring that students from all backgrounds can envision a future in the industry. Combining industry insights and interactive activities, the event provides a unique opportunity to reshape perceptions and create meaningful career pathways for the next generation.
We are actively seeking involvement from small to medium-sized businesses in the North-East to help host workshops, share industry insights, and inspire young girls to explore careers in technology. We would greatly appreciate support at the following:
